In the early days of the c64 we had the awesome software houses like Bubble Bus – Rabbit Software – The Commodore Label – Postern.
Among these we can find the some of the most played games such as Shadowfax, inspired from J.R. Tolkien and riding towards the dark sorcerers – not to be spotted – not to be spelled.
Among the Rabbit Software titles we find the Pacman clone by the name Pakacuda – eating the planktons in the bottom of the sea – will you run out of oxygen or will the sea creatures get to you first.
Bubble Bus offered us two wonderful games as first to be mentioned is the marvelous Donkey Kong clone by the name Crazy Kong – all in one and same but still so different. This was one of those games you played together with your friends. The other game that we all must have played and challenged our friends in is the game of pool named Hustler.
From Commodore we got two of the most striking titles, Clowns and Radar Rat Race, yet another Pacman clone – this time not being able to resist those wonderful pieces of cheese. Will I die eating to many or will I be hunted as the rat I am?
