Urgent: European Games
There are many times when we evaluate our intial idea. This will result in a cover upgrade. Maybe that is why European Games changes the cover.
On occasions when a cover changes it is often due to copyright issues. We have seen when the Donkey King in a second becomes the King. When Star Trek in a glimpse becomes Dragon Trek. Imagine the threat of being sued for trademark infrigement.
But then we have the occasions where som genious creates a cover that for some reason is so off. It is hilarious that a misstake can go through all verification steps and reach the market.
I believe that this must be to most stupid thing I have come accross.
Shortcircuited
Thinking of that the game must have been released in the eighties it must have been totally out of order. I mean showing an athlete doing the second world war salute. I really wonder what the reactions must have been when this game reached the market. Were there any immediate reactions?

The game was released by one of the giants, Tynesoft. This makes it more difficult to understand how they could miss on this. They must have understood that an image like this could cause som kind of reaction.

Was there an reaction?
I have tried to find any notice or written reaction on the cover design. I have not found it, so I will never be able to say for sure that the change of cover was imposed by a reaction towards the company. It would be very interesting to find a mentioning or something like it. But this re-design of the cover implies that this was the case. What do you think?

What do you think about European Games?
Please vote on the reason you believe made Tynesoft to change the cover.
