In this Classic Invaders review we will meet the aliens of the past and the skills of the master of defending our planet earth.
This is ofcourse a clone of Space Invaders and it is our task to play it and understand if it gives it justice.
Loading Screen
The setup in this clone is 60 alien ships attacking and your only shelter is behind three walls of protection. The walls our destroyed over time and you are left to fight in the air. While fighting the mothership is moving across the screen. The game is fun like mostly all Space Invaders clones are.
Like in all attack, fight and shelter games like this you need to find the right tacticst to survive. In this game you attack by making a small whole in your shield from where you are able to hit’em. Watch out to be outside the shelters as your defending canon is so wide that it always get hit. This is really an annoying thing in this game, your ship is way to wide and by that limiting you to avoid the lasers. It does’nt giv you time,
Though in whole, it is really worth playing. And if you are like me you will probably spend some hours on this game. Best of Luck.

In the Magazines
It’s hard to believe I know, but this really is a version of that grand daddy of all computer games Space Invaders. Quite rightly it’s a budget title, but I get the sneaking suspicion that there will be a fair number of people keen to have a go at this old classic. For those who have been living in a Tibetan monastery for the last few years and don’t know what Invaders is, I’ll give a quick summary.
Classic Invaders Level 2
You control a single shot laser base that can be moved left and right at the bottom of the screen. Above you appear a phalanx of aliens who shuttle across the screen, moving down and getting faster every time they hit the edge. Between the two forces are three shields that you can hide under. The aliens shoot at you and you shoot at the aliens – they always win but you’ve got to survive as long as possible.
Classic Invaders Highscore Table
If you destroy one wave another materialises, lower and faster than before. The only other thing that appears is a spaceship that whizzes across the top of the screen and can be shot for a bonus score. That’s all there is to it but even today it will still get the adrenalin pumping and needs good reflexes. The graphics are much more colourful than the original with some nice aliens and explosions. There are also some jolly little musical bursts thrown in and a high score table that you can save for posterity. No prizes at all for originality, but if you’re looking for nostalgia or a classic, mindless blast then you might want to shell out the few pennies for it.

On the covers
The bus is always there to cover up and present the title. This cover is really cool and gives an impression of that a really cool game awaits you. Though I wonder where those Aliens are in the game as what is in it is a lot of alien spacecraft. But still a good blend of colours on the cover and a lot of action. Woudl you buy the game on this? I would.
