Plankwalk Review
Welcome to this Plankwalk review – The game is a very simplistic game, you are Sid and you are about to try to escape the naughty monster. The objective is to collect points by falling downwards but always securing yourself on the next plank.
The gameplay is very simple and that is really what makes to games great fun to play. You have four different levels where the difference is the speed and the different types of planks you can fall on.

You steer your character Sid with the keyboard and this is really a game made for the keyboard as you want to have those precise movements.
The graphics are ofcourse simple and the sounds are BBC Micro, nothing else to say about that. But it is a game well worth spending your time on.
What the author writes about the game
You control Scafoolding Sid, our intrepid scaffolder. Unfortunately, the planks that Sid has erected around the building he is working on have gone beserk! Can you help Sid to jump from plank to plank without endangering his life?
As if Sid hadn’t got enough problems, he has to contend with sloping planks, fake planks, building blocks and monsters! (?)…. But on the plus side there’s always the cherries!
From Inlay

You control Scaffolding Sid, fighting an endless succession of upward-moving planks. You must survive by staying on the screen and avoiding the monsters. Score points by falling through the building blocks and eating cherries.

You die if you are carried off the top of the screen by the planks, if you run off the side, or fall off the bottom of the screen.

Plankwalk review: Is the cover trustworthy?
The cover belong to Virgin Games diagonal striped covers, a serie that you can find for several machines but of course with different colours representing the machine. It is a real cool presentation and makes you hopefull that you are about to play a great high class game.
The drawing really represents the gameplay.
