Quasimodo must rescue the imprisoned Esmeralda from the castle stronghold. Jump along the Ramparts, swing over the Fiery pit, dodge the Arrows and Fireballs and remember to keep ahead of the chasing Knight. 15 screens of fun and excitement and each one more difficult than the last.

An excellent version of the arcade game where Quasimodo attempts to rescue Esmeralda. Beautifully detailed animation (the best we’ve yet seen!) as Quasimodo leaps over the ramparts doding rocks and arrows , swinging on ropes, avoiding the guards’ spears, and ringing the bells. Twelve different screens of action, starting easy and becoming extremely difficult. Choice of starting speed and skill level. A programming masterpiece! (For use with KEYBOARD or JOYSTICKS).

The different versions have their own significant styles – from a steering perspective i must say that the C64 version is the best – but from a graphical perspective I really enjoyed the MSX version – the one with the less smooth scroll and long waiting after dying is by far the Oric version. The ugliest one is by far the Dragon version (My appologies to you who loved that computer).
